Very briefly, what were your challenges at Pennine Care?
We had a well-run charitable foundation however, it was almost entirely passive in nature. We wanted to transform it into a proactive charity that could go out and build income and profile for the benefit of Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust.
What difference have we made to you and your organisation?
Philanthropy Together not only collaborated with us to write a new four-year strategy but also put in place the essential building blocks for a small contemporary charity. These included developing a new brand; a new website; developing a selection of projects for which to raise funds; the hiring of two new permanent staff; developing internal and external communications; and initial research and approaches to charitable trusts and corporates.
Is there anything we could have done better?
The team at Philanthropy Together were a real pleasure to work with, their project management skills, attention to detailed in communications and timely reporting made them the perfect consultancy partners for Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust.
